Boat day with a big family group means we put both boats to work. We cruised out into the Gulf in front of Venice Beach, made our way down by Sharky’s Pier, and had dolphins playing all around us, including a baby dolphin. A C-130 even flew overhead and made the day feel even bigger.

Tonight was one of those nights you don’t rush. Warm air, low humidity, and the start of the Sahara dust storm giving us hazy skies and that soft, colorful sunset glow.
Dolphins rolled all around us. We took out two new residents — a mother and daughter — just to show them around town and have fun on the water.

Relax… enjoy the show. Sahara dust sunsets. Jupiter and Venus light up the night sky.

We saw baby dolphins on today's tour and they were absolutely adorable. Two little ones swimming with the momma group in Dona Bay and the Nokomis Intracoastal behind Nokomis Beach — moments like this are why we love what we do.

After a week of clouds, the sun finally showed up for us

We looped around Casey Key from the Venice Jetty to Midnight Pass, and the Gulf was alive. Dolphins were everywhere, we spotted manatees cruising slow, and jumping rays put on a show.

The family on board loved every minute — parents and kids getting great photos at Midnight Pass and under the historic Blackburn Turning Bridge. Those are the moments that make trips to Venice FL and on Great Day Boat Tours so special.

What a fun day on Great Day Too... cruising around Midnight Pass and Casey Key with a great group of girls. We had sunshine, good laughs, and a little stop for the ice cream truck boat along the way.

Days like these are the kind you remember. A girls day on the boat, some shelling, swimming, a picnic lunch, and a beautiful ride through Stump Pass with lifelong friends.

Much needed Summer evening rains are back on the Gulf coast of Florida. We watch the weather closely for those pop-up shower patterns so we can make the safest call for each trip, whether that means adjusting the route, rescheduling, or canceling if needed.

The good part is that these rainy evenings often lead to some of the most beautiful sunsets over Venice and the Gulf. A shelf cloud rolling through, warm air over the water, and the sky lighting up afterward can make for a really special night on the water.

This trip to Stump Pass gave us a little bit of everything. The dolphins were rolling, fishing, and playing all around us, then the summer rain over land and a beautiful rainbow made the whole ride feel extra special. We ended the day with a beautiful cruise back up the Gulf as the sun went down.

A great day on the water like this is exactly why we love sharing Venice Florida boat tours, dolphin watching, and sunset cruises around Nokomis and the Gulf Coast.
