✨ She Was Sent to Us ✨
Back in January, we lost our sweet Taylor, and it absolutely broke us. 🐾🤍
For months, our home felt different. Quieter. We weren’t sure when our hearts would be ready again.
Then this happened.
We welcomed the sweetest little puppy into our family, and somehow everything just felt right. There have been so many little signs along the way that make us believe Taylor had something to do with bringing this bundle of joy into our lives.
No one will ever replace her. They aren’t supposed to.
Instead, this little girl is helping us write a new chapter while carrying all the love Taylor left behind. She’ll be loved just as deeply, snuggled just as tightly, and spoiled just as much.
Losing Taylor ripped our family to pieces, but opening our hearts again reminds us that love never really leaves us. It simply finds a new way to grow.
Taylor was by our side through some of the hardest seasons of our life. She was always there without saying a word, somehow knowing exactly what was needed. As I watched our kids meet Porter today, I couldn’t help but think about all the highs and lows this little one will be there for. The first day of school jitters, tough days, big accomplishments, heartbreaks, celebrations, and everything in between.
The thought that Porter will get to grow alongside our kids and be their steady companion through life’s challenges fills my heart with so much hope. ❤️
