Locally owned and operated services Tolland County and Greater Hartford area. It just seemed like the right time to get back to our roots! Making logging tools has taken us away from our portable sawmill business for 18 years. As Logrite grew, we sold New England Saw and Lumber and immediately became their first customer. They would saw all our pallet wood. With their retirement, Logrite bought a

sawmill. Over the years, we have accumulated new equipment: kiln, slab flattening mill and laser engraver. Logrite decided to diversify one more time and open Bantle's Boards, a full service saw mill.

Besides sawing and drying wood, Zach has been busy creating custom pieces for different companies. These pictures are from Sunberry Cafe & Catering in Hartford. He built the tables, signs and the shiplap behind the bar. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of their bar top and unique shelving that he made.

We had a customer come in recently with a job they needed ASAP. We were able to quickly saw up 4 of these 16"X14" oak beams to replace the rotten ones found under this footbridge. This cherry log was made into slabs recently. If you look you can see some medullary rays, there is also some beautiful and interesting grain structure near the split!

This slab is not dry yet, but we have a wonderful selection of dry wood here! There is a wide array slabs in different species, sizes, lengths, and thicknesses that are dry and ready to be made into something beautiful.
