Meet Emily! 👋
Emily has spent most of her life at Lakeland Pools & Spas, but has officially been part of the team for 9 years. She started out as a store associate and has worked up to becoming a store manager, and loves helping customers with their water testing and retail needs.
💧 Experience & Background:
Having spent most of her life around the family business, Emily began learning the ins and outs of the pool and spa industry at a young age. She started by helping customers carry purchases out to their cars and gradually took on more responsibilities over the years. Today, she is trusted to occasionally manage the store during the winter months when Cindy and Tracey are away. Emily has attended BioGuard University multiple times throughout the years and occasionally participates in the Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City to continue expanding her industry knowledge. She is currently training in hot tub sales and enjoys helping both new and longtime customers find the products and solutions that best fit their needs.
⭐ Favorite Part of the Job:
“I’ve been around Lakeland Pools for my entire life, so I’ve had the unique opportunity to grow up alongside many of our customers. Catching up with longtime customers every season and welcoming new customers has been my favorite part of my job, and makes Lakeland feel like more than just a store.”
☀️ Outside of Work:
When Emily isn’t at the store, you can usually find her in class for her Speech-Language Pathology graduate program, watching sports, shopping, at the beach, or spending time with her family and friends.
🎉 Fun Fact:
Emily has a 1 year old cat named George that she rescued as a kitten.
