Responsibilities:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of diagnosing & troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems.
• Performing maintenance tasks such as cleaning, adjusting, repairs, etc.
• Conducting warranty services and emergency repairs.
• Must have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be knowledgeable about HVAC electrical systems, refrigerants, airflow principles, and safety protocols to perform their tasks effectively.
• Knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools.
• Complete routine HVAC inspections (e.g., test for leaks, check tension on belts and motors, inspect electrical wiring, etc.).
• Knowledge of cleaning refrigeration system components such as blowers, coils, filters, grills, etc.
• Conduct HVAC system performance tests on all types of units.
• Organize and track inventory to limit supply losses to the company.
• Address customer concerns during your visit in a courteous and professional manner.
• Complete HVAC work orders and record time spent, and materials used on each job.
• Provide rough estimates for replacement systems.
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
