The previous post showcases the video of a Terroir Design developed for a school environment. For this school, gardens have been installed to expand the learning landscape, support students and staff, and provide nutrient rich produce to the community. Share holders purchase a subscription to the gardens and receive a harvest for each month of their subscription. 100% of the proceeds are used to pay for any materials needed. The purpose of the design is to provide students with the opportunity to apply what they learn and get "real life" experiences to build schema which supports all aspects of learning. Once a month, students K-6 participate in a Garden Lesson to gain exposure to all aspects of growing from planting, watering, organic pest control, harvesting, eating, cooking, agricultural economics, entrepreneurship and more.
