After 10 years of keeping our prices the same we are at a cross road, as we've seen our profit margin get smaller and smaller to about nothing. So Raise prices or stop offering split firewood. We need the input from our customers and community. Let us know, comment, heart or like the original post if you think we should offer at a higher price. Or if not let us not you'd reach out to new suppliers, no hurt feelings. Just honest open options.

We would still offer a summer sale, discounted from our new cost if we continued to sell.
We feel we are the biggest bulk firewood sales in the area, we don't want to hurt the community but can't continue at the same prices. The Logging and Tree Removal will remain in full swing!

No! Trees won't "explode” due to cold temperatures. However, in very cold weather, the moisture and sap inside a tree can freeze and expand, pushing outward and causing the bark to crack or split. Just like you hear your house creak and pop during cold snaps, a tree can make a surprisingly loud “POP" or cracking sound. But it will not actually explode.

Sometimes the internet just needs to be turned off… 😉

We battled threw the heat yesterday and took this down for a customer in beal city. He wanted to keep the wood for his father in-law, so we took the mess and left the rest! Another happy customer!
