📢 SmartHub Update – Day 2

We're making great progress with our SmartHub transition and are excited to see so many members successfully registering and exploring the new platform. Our team has been working hard to serve members and ensure a smooth transition to a better account management experience.

With SmartHub, you can:

✅ Enroll in paperless billing
✅ Schedule future payments
✅ Set up automatic payments
✅ Manage your account anytime, anywhere

To better assist members during this transition, we have extended our office hours this week:
🕖 Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
🕘 Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

As more members begin using SmartHub, we are experiencing higher-than-normal call volumes and longer wait times. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our employees work diligently to assist every member and answer questions along the way.

⚡UPDATE⚡ - VEC crews continue working to repair scattered outages across our service territory despite ongoing weather conditions. While we believe the worst of the storm is behind us, crews are still facing challenging conditions in the field.

Restoration efforts may take longer than usual due to heavily saturated ground conditions from the recent rainfall. The muddy and unstable terrain is making it difficult for crews and equipment to safely access some areas.

We appreciate your patience and support as our crews continue working to safely restore power to all affected members.

🌟 Join us in congratulating our VEC Scholarship Recipients from Victoria West High School! 🎓

This year, we had several exceptional applicants, making it a very difficult decision for our awards committee. These outstanding students have worked hard, served their communities, and shown great dedication both inside and outside the classroom.

Funded entirely by unclaimed capital credit funds, VEC’s scholarship program is a testament to our continued commitment to education and community support. This year, we are proud to award a total of $45,000 in scholarships, with each recipient receiving $1,500 to help pursue their academic dreams.

On behalf of Victoria Electric Cooperative, our Board of Directors, Management Team, and our members, it is truly a privilege to support these incredible students as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

🚨Important Member Notice: SmartHub Transition 🚨

Our current payment platform will be temporarily unavailable Monday, May 25 through Sunday, May 31.

Please note during this time:
• Debit and credit card payments will not be accepted
• Members may still make payments in person using cash or check at our office

Recurring Payment Members:
If you are currently enrolled in recurring payments, please visit the SmartHub portal beginning June 1 to re-enroll and continue using this feature.

Starting next week, June 1st, we will offer extended hours should you need assistance setting up your SmartHub account.
