We have received a huge influx of calls and messages within the last 30 minutes, and many of them are reporting the exact same issue after the recent power surge: the AC was running, the power flickered, and now the outdoor unit will not come back on or is making an unusual noise.

If this happened to you, here is something you can try before calling:

Turn your thermostat OFF and allow the system to sit for about 30 to 60 minutes. A quick power interruption while the AC is running can cause the compressor to overheat or trip its internal protection, and sometimes it simply needs time to cool down and reset.

After it has been off for a while, turn the thermostat back to COOL and see if the system starts normally.

⚠️ If a breaker has tripped, you can reset it one time only. If it trips again, leave it off and give us a call.

If the outdoor unit is making a loud or unusual noise, smells hot, or still will not come back on after allowing it time to reset, please shut the system off and contact us.

Here’s a little behind the scenes look at how my Mondays usually start!

We recently had the opportunity to install a new 7.5 ton Daikin package unit at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church!

A big thank you to Victoria Crane Works for helping us get the unit safely in place and to Johnstone Supply for supplying the new equipment.
