I typically don’t do things for free when it comes to side work but I felt like the customer would really benifit from a whole home water filter. From making the water taste better and better protecting home appliances to removing particulates, chlorine, a range of organic chemicals, rust and scale flakes, and C8. I will say I am receiving dinner, probably a hug, and a free baby sitter sometime.
Also for you old timers I know I know it’s propress. Just to reassure you the old times haven’t died I still sweat my fittings when it’s in a crawl space, attic, or inside the wall. The lead and oakum is questionable though 😁

Picked up a new hobby. I don’t plan on advertising to do any machine work until I am comfortable and confident in my abilities to do so. It’s been a learning experience in itself getting the mill back to a precision state learning about bearings, preloads, and correctly indicating the table to the head. The lathe still needs bushings and different gears for threads but after that it’s ready to go.

Started this whole home water filter for a family member while visiting 🦅🦅🪨 . It’s amazing the improvement you get adding one of these to your home 💧🚿☕️ I didn’t have the right tools on the truck to finish the lines so I’ll update the finished product soon.

Make sure and change your filters, ensure that all your supply vents are open and uncovered, take a water hose to your outside AC unit to clean out any dust & debris, and a cap of bleach in your condensate drain PVC piping by the furnace. If you hear the outside unit kicking on and off a lot or if it sounds like it is struggling to start up, you may want to call somebody before anything happens to prevent any lack of air-conditioning this summer. Stay cool this summer 🧊 🥶
