Textured materials significantly influence architecture by adding depth, character, and tactile quality, making buildings feel inviting and engaging. They interact uniquely with light, creating dynamic visual effects.
Stucco, in particular, offers a versatile option, combining rustic charm with modern elegance. Its rough texture evokes warmth and earthiness while also achieving a contemporary look. This adaptability allows us, as architects, to blend buildings with their environments and create new architectural styles.
Stucco is practical for both interior and exterior surfaces, and we used it for both on this Olive Tree Greek Grill Project in Viera, Florida. We love how stucco helps to create visually striking and sensory-rich spaces.
Come see as they are opening soon!
