Progress continues at Jefferson School Lofts, a 42-unit senior housing development, as the project moves toward completion.
We’re excited to share that construction is scheduled to be completed on 9/30/2026, with leasing anticipated to begin as early as 10/1/2026.
This adaptive reuse project is being brought to life in partnership with Paramark, who will manage future leasing and operations.

We’re excited to celebrate Caitlin Wolf on her promotion to Development Project Coordinator at North Arrow Partners!
Caitlin first joined our team as an intern and has continued to grow through her initiative, creativity, and commitment to community-focused development. She recently earned her graduate degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her background includes teaching English in Japan and working as a handyperson, giving her a unique perspective on the work we do.
As Caitlin steps into her new role, she shared, “I’m excited to help see our projects through from start to finish and make these communities a reality.”

Exciting update from The City of Du Quoin, IL!

North Arrow Partners is proud to share the closing of The Blackstone, a 2-story, 36-unit senior housing (55+) development.

This project will bring much-needed housing for older adults in the community and includes thoughtfully designed features such as a community garden, community room, fitness center, on-site management offices, and a secure mail room to support comfortable and connected living.

We’re grateful to partner with Turnstone Development, IHDA, Hudson, and Associated Bank in bringing this project to life.

At North Arrow Partners, we know that thoughtful design and secure, affordable housing work together to build strong communities, especially seniors.

During Older Americans Month, we’re reflecting on how the built environment shapes connection, dignity, and aging in place.

In the communities we help create, design plays an active role in everyday life. Shared spaces support group activities like clubs and events, smaller gathering areas encourage casual interaction, and well-planned common spaces make everyday encounters more natural. We also collaborate with local partners who bring resources that support health, engagement, and daily living.

Through intentional planning, these environments become more than housing. They become communities that support connections in many ways.

We’re proud to look back on the redevelopment of Water’s Edge Apartments, where an entire city block was transformed into a new family housing community through collaboration and design.
