Another Captiva Island Inn progress update! 🌴🔨

The colors are really starting to pop on Andy Rosse Lane! Both elevated buildings are taking shape with roofing, windows, and signature exterior finishes coming together.

As the first ground-up Captiva accommodation to begin construction after Hurricane Ian, this project is an exciting milestone for Captiva. The first building is scheduled for completion in September, with the second following in November!

We can’t wait to share more as we get closer to completion! 👀

Hurricane season is here!🌀

We’ve repaired and rebuilt numerous businesses following hurricanes, and one thing we’ve learned firsthand is that preparation makes a difference.

One of the biggest mistakes we see is waiting until a storm is in the forecast to start preparing. By then, it may be too late to schedule inspections or complete important repairs, as contractors and service providers are often overwhelmed with calls.

We’re excited to welcome Byron Widemon to Stevens Construction as a Special Projects Superintendent! 👏

Byron brings several years of construction experience with a background in residential construction, paving, grading, and concrete. His experience managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining safety and quality on the jobsite will be a great addition to our Special Projects team.

In his new role, Byron will oversee day-to-day field operations, helping keep projects safe, on schedule and moving forward.

A lot going on at SCCF on Sanibel Island! 🌴🔨

Great progress is being made across all three buildings, with Building 1 reaching another milestone as the precast plank and topping slab were recently completed. The elevator shaft is complete, and pavilion framing will begin soon.

Once complete, the 7,700-square-foot village will provide housing for students, researchers and conservationists working with SCCF and its environmental partners.

We’re proud to be building a space that will support the next generation of conservation on Sanibel. 🧡

Construction is underway on a major expansion for Elite Metal Finishing in Orlando! 🔨

Elite Metal Finishing provides specialized metal finishing services for the aerospace, defense, and industrial industries. The 26,349-square-foot addition will expand its campus to 45,806 square feet, adding new manufacturing and production areas, warehouse and storage space, administrative offices, and employee support areas to accommodate continued growth.

Construction is taking place while the existing facility remains fully operational, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption to daily operations.

Stevens Construction has completed two new Aroma Joe's Coffee shops in Southwest Florida — one in Port Charlotte and one in North Fort Myers.

Completed in under seven months, each 1,598-square-foot building features indoor and outdoor seating, an order counter, preparation area, restrooms and a drive-through.

Stop by for coffee and espresso drinks, flavor infusions, dirty sodas, signature AJ’s RUSH® energy drinks and all-day food offerings.
