Representative from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters came to speak to the classes about career opportunities in their organization today. There is tons of work ( billions of dollars worth ), and not enough workers to man it. These senior students could be on some of these jobs by early summer if they sign up for their apprenticeship program. The wage scales and benefits are very competitive and a great place to start a career.
