Do you ever feel like you could just use a little help with a long list of things to do and don’t know how it’s all going to get done. This is honesty and transparency, I do!!

And then I go to the garden and see the beauty and always camera near by and come in and look at the photos.
And to see even this little bee so hard at work, he is pollinating and creating a beauty that I could never do.

So I’m trying today to be thankful even in the little things.

Just look at the intricate detail of this little guy!!

Fun little fact that’s what my dad called me when I was a very little girl.🤣

A few bouquets headed to Sips Coffee Virden IL location tomorrow morning.

And more buckets picked so stay tuned what I do with these.
Some fun things in these buckets with some dark moody tones I’m excited to work with.

My grandson is patiently waiting for Mimi to finish if you see a little guy and all his toys in the background. He said the sunflowers are so soft.

Sorry for the second post today!!

While I love the look of dew on flowers, with all of the rain we have had the flowers are a bit too wet for bouquets.

So our flowers we normally have at Sips will be all day Saturday.
Sorry we will not have them for Friday this week.

Give me all the layers and curls that these beauties give.

When I hear oh it’s just a zinnia, I couldn’t disagree more!

Small breeders spend hours and years trying to create new breeds and varieties to enjoy.

While yes there are many you can go to your local Walmart or even Dollar Tree and buy, these are not what you get. Even from larger catalogs that most flower farmer’s purchase, this is not what you get.

All of them are beautiful of course and plant what you love or what’s in your budget.

The rains came, the winds blew, the weeds grew but I’m pushing through!!!

So pardon the weeds and some of the zinnias that have fallen but I’m going to express my gratitude for their beauty and abundance anyway.

I do not normally have to stake or net my zinnia’s as I plant them closely together and they help support one another.

With the heat index here last week in the 100’s the weeds had their way, with cooler temps and a beautiful day things are being staked and weeded.

I wish it always looked picture perfect but that’s not the reality.
So here is to keeping it real!
