Spent the day mowing, I love mowing and soaking up the sunshine and being outdoors!

Dreaming of all the places I’m going to plant pretty flowers!

Can’t wait to see what this looks like planted in flowers soon.

More tilling and lots of planting. 🌸🌺

Keeping it REAL!!

This is just a snippet of what I have going on lol.

My ducks are absolutely not all in a row, and my grow lights are not even straight!

My grandchildren’s play kitchen has become a place for some of my things that have been hardened off and ready to plant. The floor has also become a place to watch your step lol.

It’s not all pretty and neat.
This is real life, not instagram photos.
Heat mats, grow lights, soil in my kitchen sink😩 and please don’t tell my brother the plumber😉, and my nails look nicely manicured with a daily dose of potting mix.

Just sow the seed and watch them grow🌺

So pray for me a greenhouse and hoop house 🤣🤣🤣

I’m checking on my winter sown jugs today and up potting this beautiful single feverfew.

I sowed the seeds in February in milk jugs and put them outside to grow.

This makes a great filler flower with its daisy like shapes, it’s cheerful and a classic cottage garden perennial.

Feverfew grows to be 18-24 inches tall and it’s also know for it’s great history in traditional herbalism.

Do you grow single feverfew or other varieties of feverfew?

Harvested pennycress this morning.

What a great filler for bouquets, I just love it! Even a bouquet of it by itself is beautiful.

It is not cut and come again so it’s one you need to sow multiple succesion plantings of but it’s so worth it.

And it’s great fresh or dried. Great for wreath making after dried and save those seeds and plant again.

What’s your favorite filler? Do you grow Pennycress or other cress?

Pretty Iceland poppies blooming this morning!

These are a perennial poppy so they will come back year after year.

There are lots of poppies but so many are annual so save those seeds.

And orange excavator😉, who is betting on me that I can run this big piece of machinery today while husband is gone fishing? Without knocking out the house windows🤣?

Gotta keep things light hearted, I probably should stick to flowers. Although I have ran it😉
