Construction has started on your restaurant.

Weeks go by. No RFIs. No phone calls. No questions from the contractor.

Sounds great, right?

Maybe not.

Restaurant projects are complicated. Equipment changes. Existing conditions aren't what was expected. A duct doesn't fit. A detail needs clarification.

Things come up. That's construction.

The right materials can make or break a space.

Sample selection is more than picking colors and finishes that look good together. Every material needs to work together aesthetically, functionally, and within the needs of the space.

For this interior design project, our team is carefully evaluating everything from flooring and wallcoverings to countertops, tile, color, texture, and architectural details. We’re looking at how each piece interacts with the others — and how those selections will perform long after the project is complete.

That’s where having an experienced interior design team matters.

I’d go!

There is a staircase inside Notre-Dame right now that did not exist before the 2019 fire.

It is brand new, made of solid oak, and built as a double helix, meaning two separate spirals wind around each other so people climbing up never cross paths with people climbing down. At 178 steps, it is officially the largest wooden staircase of its kind ever built.

It was constructed for one job: to safely bring visitors up to the cathedral's biggest bell, nicknamed Emmanuel.

The towers reopened to the public on September 20, 2025, after six years of restoration. The full climb is 424 steps total, with no elevator, and some passages narrow to 17 inches (45 centimeters) wide. The reward at the top is a view of Paris from 226 feet (69 meters) above the Seine, about as high as a 20 story building.
