Had the pleasure of redoing 2 playground bases at an apartment complex this week. Couldn't have asked for a better team or weather. Rubber mulch was an excellent choice and looks amazing. We can't wait to see the joy from the kids and parents alike!

Before and After photos from a removal job earlier this week. These shrubs are what remained from what the owner planted in the early 80's. We will replant a new shrubline in the Spring to give it a fresh new look!

Gotta love that fresh mulch look 👌

Believe it or not, it's time to start thinking about vegetable gardening--especially if you are in the warmest parts of the state. For those in Zones 7b and 8a, it's nearly time to begin sowing cool weather crops like beets or mustard.

Over the last decade, many gardeners have noticed that they can plant earlier or later into the season than they used to; the USDA released an updated zone map last fall which officially puts many Virginians into warmer zones. Check what zone you're in here: https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/
