Our technicians respond to both commercial and residential losses due to burst pipes, sprinkler systems going off, mold infestations, fire damage, and much more. In addition, each Technician rotates on an On-Call schedule so that we are able to respond to emergency situations at night and on weekends or when we have severe weather such as flooding, cold snaps, and snowstorms. You would be communicating with your Supervisor and Clients as their loss is progressing – this is where our Technicians get praises (and raises!).
Aresco of Tidewater will pay for all of the industry certifications required for our Technicians to respond to all situations. We want you to grow with us! Work your way up to a Field Supervisor, Estimator, or Management – your possibilities are endless! We want “street smart" “common sense" Technicians who have the ability to think on their feet.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Water extraction.
· Mold remediation.
· Moving, packing, unpacking contents.
· Setting and monitoring necessary equipment.
· Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
· Inspect, maintain and clean vehicles and equipment on regular basis.
· Demolition, removal and disposal of debris.
· Complete applicable documentation and photographs.
· Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in other positions within our company.
Job Requirements:
· Possess and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license.
· Have a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check, and drug test.
· Flexibility to work outside of "regular" business hours, if necessary.
· High school education or general education degree (GED).
· Ability to occasionally lift or move 50+ pounds.
· Must be comfortable working in small spaces (crawlspaces/attics).
· Have reliable transportation.
· Must be comfortable getting fitted for full-face respirator.

This is very much a hands-on position that includes elements of both production manager and field technician. The right individual must be customer service driven, self-motivated, professional, have a strong work ethic, and be a proven leader. Primary Responsibilities:

*Lead and manage our restoration crews to ensure IICRC guidelines are consistently followed.

*Serve as lead technician on our mitigation jobs, including water, fire, and mold remediation.

*Manage our mitigation jobs to ensure timely response, effective communication, and prompt job completion.

*Interact with customers, develop scope of work while monitoring progress daily.

*Oversee entire job flow, including scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews.

*Manage job file documentation, job profitability, efficiencies, and quality of services.

*Train, manage, and recruit emergency services personnel.

*Work closely with our Project Manager and Estimator to ensure accurate job scopes and estimates.

Requirements:

*2 years experience (as technician and manager) in water extraction and structural drying, mold remediation, fire, smoke, pack outs, content inventory management and odor control.

*Proficient in industry applications such as Xactimate, PSA, Moisture Mapper, and ContentsTrak.

*IICRC certifications (current) preferred. Water, mold, carpet cleaning, smoke\odor, lead, fire including contents cleaning and inventory, and trauma.

*Excel at working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

*Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.

*Ability to prioritize and multitask.

*Possess and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license.

*Have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

*Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work effectively with homeowners, agents, and adjusters associated with disaster restoration.

*Ability to occasionally lift or move 50+ pounds.

*Ability to work in small spaces (crawlspaces/attics).

*Must be comfortable getting fitted for full-face respirator.

*Carpet cleaning experience, especially operating a ProChem truckmount carpet cleaning system, a plus.

*Computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software systems.

*Great organizational, analytical, attention to detail, time and personnel management skills.

*Proven ability to hire, train, manage and motivate mitigation technicians.

*Experience working with insurance vendor programs including Alacrity and Contractor Connection.
