Signing Bonus! We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Crew Chief / Site Supervisor to join our disaster response team. This is very much a hands-on position that includes elements of both production manager and field technician. Primary Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage our restoration crews to ensure IICRC guidelines are consistently followed.
*Serve as lead technician on our mitigation jobs, including water, fire, and mold remediation.
*Manage our mitigation jobs to ensure timely response, effective communication, and prompt job completion.
*Interact with customers, develop scope of work while monitoring progress daily.
*Oversee entire job flow, including scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews.
*Manage job file documentation, job profitability, efficiencies, and quality of services.
*Train, manage, and recruit emergency services personnel.
*Work closely with our Project Manager and Estimator to ensure accurate job scopes and estimates.
Requirements:
*2 years experience (as technician and manager) in water extraction and structural drying, mold remediation, fire, smoke, pack outs, content inventory management and odor control.
*Proficient in industry applications such as Xactimate, PSA, Moisture Mapper, and ContentsTrak.
*IICRC certifications (current) preferred. Water, mold, carpet cleaning, smoke\odor, lead, fire including contents cleaning and inventory, and trauma.
*Excel at working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
*Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
*Ability to prioritize and multitask.
*Possess and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license.
*Have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work effectively with homeowners, agents, and adjusters associated with disaster restoration.
*Ability to occasionally lift or move 50+ pounds.
*Ability to work in small spaces (crawlspaces/attics).
*Must be comfortable getting fitted for full-face respirator.
*Carpet cleaning experience, especially operating a ProChem truckmount carpet cleaning system, a plus.
*Computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software systems.
*Great organizational, analytical, attention to detail, time and personnel management skills.
*Proven ability to hire, train, manage and motivate mitigation technicians.
*Experience working with insurance vendor programs including Alacrity and Contractor Connection.
