Zev showed up early this morning to make sure everything met his standards.

✔ Dad still under supervision

He’s tough… but fair.

This setup was driving the homeowner crazy.
The paver patio was failing, the cobblestone driveway extension was uneven, and the whole area was ready for an upgrade…

The homeowner was already investing in a new landscape, so it made sense to upgrade the hardscape too and rebuild it the right way.

We removed the old materials, prepped the area properly, and installed new concrete for a clean, low-maintenance finish that fits the property much better. We also laid down boards to protect the yard during the current rain and keep the job site as clean as possible.

Now they’ve got a fresh new patio, a smoother driveway extension, and a much better foundation for the rest of the exterior upgrades.

They fail because they were never designed for how the homeowner actually uses them.

This one is a perfect example.

The original driveway was too narrow — forcing cars into the street and creating daily frustration.

Homeowner needed more space to park multiple vehicles without tearing up the yard.

So we handled everything start to finish:

✔ Ordered the property survey
✔ Got city approval for the driveway expansion
✔ Extended the culvert to maintain proper drainage
✔ Excavated and installed a solid base
✔ Poured the new concrete in one day

We came back the next morning, pulled forms, and detailed the site so everything was clean and ready to use.

The wood deck didn’t match the surrounding concrete and always looked like it was added as an afterthought.

North End Backyard Patio Upgrade – Virginia Beach

We recently completed this stamped concrete patio and walkway project in the North End of Virginia Beach.

The homeowner originally had a wood deck, but it wasn’t giving them enough usable space and the side walkway was too narrow to comfortably roll their beach cart through the yard.

So we redesigned the entire layout.

✔ Wider concrete walkway along the side of the home
✔ Large stamped patio for entertaining
✔ New concrete steps for the side entrance

They selected Ashlar Slate stamped concrete, which gives the look of natural stone while being far more durable and low maintenance.

Because homes in the North End deal with sand, moisture, and salt air, we also added a non-skid traction additive to help keep the surface safer when wet.

The finished space now flows cleanly from the house to the backyard and will hold up for decades.

🚨 Cars Were Scraping Every Day

This commercial driveway entrance in Virginia Beach had a major problem.

The apron approach was too steep, so every time employees pulled into the parking lot their cars would bottom out and scrape the pavement.

Not exactly a great first impression for a business.

Over time it also starts damaging vehicles and breaking down the concrete even faster.

So we fixed it the right way.

We removed the old apron, regraded the approach, and installed a new reinforced concrete entrance with a proper slope transition.

✔ Old concrete removed
✔ Approach regraded for correct elevation
✔ New reinforced concrete installed
✔ Broom finish for traction and durability

Now vehicles enter the parking lot smoothly without scraping.
