I started my old business in October of 2010 as a small 1 person owned business which I run out of my residence. I posses a diversified skill level, more so than most electricians in my trade and I use this to my business advantage. In turn, this can only mean a better job done for my customers. Often times, I've been able to help people with other issues while I was there. I started out in elect

ronics during high school at age 15, spent 10 years in the Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician (sort of like McGyver!). I've dabbled in robotics, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, metal working, automotive, roofing, carpet and flooring, swimming pool construction, concrete work, framing, landscaping, musical instrument repair, manufacturing assembly line maintenance and repair, nuclear systems, alarm systems, bar bouncer, light plumbing, furniture building and woodworking, etc. I'm a proud father of one daughter who recently graduated from ODU and is now very successful internet business and marketing executive. Currently, as of July 2014 Kinnaird Electric Co. has been meshed into Wood Contracting and Mechanical Services as an employee based division of their company. I manage that division but still contract work for my company through theirs through use of my class B license and my master's license. I am also a professional musician (guitar and bass) with 41 years playing experience and currently play in two bands and do host appearances in a few others. I also support fair treatment of pitbull and similar condemned breeds of dogs and despise any deliberate or irresponsible actions resulting in animal cruelty and neglect regardless of the breed.
