If your remodel involves installing new doors and windows, this is a process that can often be done within a few days to a week. When you have skilled contractors working on your renovation, installing new doors and windows does not take much time. As long as there are no delays with the materials you have chosen, window and door installations are typically not a long process. 😊

In this phase of the remodel, the walls are installed by drywall experts. 💪 With the supplies on hand and enough help, the walls can be installed within a day or two. This step can take longer if there are many cuts needed, or difficult corners to work around.

🔍 The inspection process can take a few weeks, and it is largely dependent on the availability of the inspectors you need to come check out the work that has been done. In order for the remodel to continue, any of the electrical work, plumbing and framework will need to be inspected and signed off on by the inspector if it is required to be signed off by the inspector.

If there are any issues with the inspection, these will need to be fixed before the construction project can move forward. It is possible that the inspection will go fast. If an inspector is available and only a few changes are made, the process can be quick.

The next step of our renovation process is the demolition. ⚒️ This step is generally fast, depending on the number of workers who are there to deal with the removal of debris.

Some homeowners choose to do some demolition work on their own. When you want to do work on your remodel, make sure that you know where wires and pipes are before you try to do any of the demo yourself.
