Flyaway Geese Flyaway Geese offers management options for nuisance wildlife control needs. We offer effective, affordable, humane service with working Border Collies.

Flyaway Geese - Virginia offers effective and affordable goose and wildlife management to Virginia Beach, Alexandria and surrounding areas. Call for your free demo and see how quickly we can mitigate your goose or bird problems. Highly trained Border Collies put a predator in your environment. Geese see things differently than we do. They see color pattern and shape and it triggers a response inside of their head. Something that moves with it's head and tail down triggers the predator response in the birds. Because of this the birds will leave the areas that they feel the threat in.The use of Border Collies is the only method of goose control that is promoted by PETA and the Humane Society. It is safe for the dogs and the birds.

FUN FACT FRIDAY!

Did you know Canada geese can recognize familiar faces? 👀

They can learn to distinguish between people and remember individuals they’ve encountered before.

So the next time a flock gives you the side-eye… they might actually know who you are. 😂🪿

These dogs were bred to herd livestock, and their instincts to watch, follow, and move a group are a big part of what makes them so good at goose management.

Different animals, same natural talent. 🪿💨

And judging by this photo, this flock got the message! 😂

Three years ago, Hampton University students were accustomed to Canada geese overtaking the grassy lawn by the marina. The geese would chase and attack students, and their f***s were all over campus. The the university brought in the dogs.

The business, Flyaway Geese, uses working Border Collies to "humanely convince" geese to leave the college campus.
