A few weeks ago, we helped sponsor the Kaizen Adaptive Training golf tournament.

"Kaizen Adaptive Training provides an all-Inclusive training facility for individuals with long-term physical or traumatic impairments (visible and invisible) through movement and community. We make fitness training accessible and inclusive for everyone, regardless of ability. It is an honor to serve our Wounded Warriors, Veterans, First Responders, Law Enforcement Officers and our Adaptive Community."

Yesterday, we participated and helped sponsor Main Street Homes' annual Charity Golf Tournament. To support the great cause, Jacob Berryman, Cameron Yancey, B.K. Kelley, and Jesse Severt all teamed up to take on the green. With the beautiful weather, we were fortunate to come out with the win. Last week, we had the pleasure of taking a trip to Longleaf Plantation in Cairo, Georgia to bird hunt. Greenwood Homes, L&W Supply, D L Williams Roofing & Siding Inc., J. Severt Contracting LLC, and Wilkins Outdoor Products LLC all accompanied us on the trip, and to say the time spent there was amazing would be an understatement! From the Longleaf Hill team to the hospitality we received, we couldn't have had a better experience. A big thank you to Longleaf Hill and its team for the extraordinary opportunity. We'll be back! 😁

Last night, Costen Floors hosted The Builder and Trade Holiday Party. Rich Knisely and his partner-in-crime, Jacob Duty, attended the event meeting new and fellow friends.

We want to thank Costen Floors for putting on the wonderful event, along with the builder and trade partners who attended. As always, a big thanks to Danna Markland with the Home Building Association of Richmond.

The Christmas holiday is to celebrate the birth of Christ, and to recollect on the greatest gift he could give us- dying on the cross to save our sins.

The holiday is known for receiving gifts from one another and relishing in the comfort of family and friends, but it's also the season of giving.

Every year, Prince George's Department of Social Services holds their "Christmas Father Program" where people come together to "adopt" and provide families in need with a Christmas they deserve.

We have been honored to sponsor a couple families this year, one with a 13-year-old boy and the other a 9-year-old girl. They only had a few things on their list each, but we wanted to go a step further to hopefully give them the best Christmas yet.

We love participating in this event every year as it allows us to not only help parents and their children, but to take a step back and realize how fortunate and blessed we are.

With that being said, KandS Contracting wishes you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 😊

As a trade council board member of the Home Building Association of Richmond, Rich Knisely and his fabulous wife, Tricia Knisely, attended the Home Building Association of Richmond President's Dinner last Thursday night.

Congratulations to all who were nominated and the winners. It was truly a great night to support Richmond's finest contractors!
