For this project, we removed the wall in the above video, installed a recessed beam, flat finished over a sanded finish plaster ceiling to create a uniform look throughout the entire space, installed a new sliding glass door, and finally, we installed recessed lights throughout the kitchen area as well as pendant lights over the island area.
