We’re growing and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us.

Marsh Wind Woods is looking for an experienced Lead Handyman to join our residential renovation team.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a home, takes pride in quality work, can work independently, communicates well, and understands that how you treat a client’s home matters just as much as the work itself.

Our projects range from carpentry, doors and windows, trim and flooring to decks, porches, fixtures, repairs and all the unexpected things that come with renovating real homes.

Most importantly, we’re looking for integrity, reliability, craftsmanship and someone who takes ownership of their work.

This is a skilled position with competitive pay based on experience and skill, plus performance-based bonuses and a 90-day bonus opportunity for the right person.

We serve homeowners throughout East Tennessee, including Monroe, Knox, McMinn, Loudon and surrounding counties.

Some projects are more than just a renovation.

They’re a transformation.

This porch was one of those projects.

From the very beginning, I got to be involved in the fun part too, Helping design the space, choosing the colors, picking out the light fixtures, and working through all the little details that brought the vision together.

Then Colin and the team got to do what they do best: take that vision and turn it into something real.

The before and after says a lot… but hearing how much the homeowners love the finished space means even more.

We’re incredibly proud of this one.

Today, we celebrate someone at the heart of everything we do.

Happy Birthday to our co-owner and Chief Experience Officer, Jenn Ellsworth.

CXO may be her official title, but it barely scratches the surface. Jenn keeps our operations moving, takes care of countless details behind the scenes, helps run Marsh Wind Farms, homeschools our daughter, manages our home and family, and somehow continues moving mountains to help Marsh Wind Woods grow and thrive.

So much of what people see when they look at Marsh Wind Woods has Jenn’s fingerprints on it. The growth we’ve experienced didn’t just happen. It has taken long days, sacrifices, difficult decisions, persistence, and a whole lot of work that most people will never see. Jenn has been there for all of it.

I may be the one you see swinging the hammer, but there is an incredible woman behind the scenes helping make it all possible.

Marsh Wind Woods wouldn’t be what it is without her, and neither would our family.

Happy Birthday to my wife, my partner, our CXO, Mom, teacher, farmer, problem solver, and the woman who somehow keeps all of us moving in the same direction.

We love you, Jenn. Here’s to another year of moving mountains together.

There’s a lot more to a renovation than the work we do inside your home.

We’re putting together thank-you gifts for our clients, and we wanted each one to feel just as thoughtful as the projects we’ve been trusted to work on.

For this client, we put together a little “enjoy your porch” box complete with a few of our favorite things, some homemade jam, and even a little something for their dogs.

Because to us, you’re not just a job on the schedule or a number on an estimate.

You’re a client who trusted us with a piece of your home, your investment, and your vision.

That matters.

We put thought into the details of every project we take on, and we believe that same thoughtfulness should carry through to the way we say thank you when the work is done.

Our team is taking a little time away to recharge and enjoy some time with family.
