We stripped 2 bedrooms down to the studs with plaster and lath. We also replaced what little insulation was in the walls...

We stripped 2 bedrooms down to the studs with plaster and lath. We also replaced what little insulation was in the walls and put up a v***r barrier. We then added a 2x3 wall for extra air gap between the exterior wall, which also helped us square up each room the old native lumber was a little out of square. We found 2 old chimneys in each room, that got removed. We built 2 new closets and added another window in each room. We also stripped down and redone the original doors and hardware.

We took out a load bearing wall, put in a lvl beam and wrapped it. I forgot to get a before picture and forgot to get a picture of the lvl. The customer was also getting new floor installed by a different contractor, it worked out that we didn't have to put trim around the bottom of the beams. He was able to lay the floor right up to the jack post and we was able to put the wraps right on top of the new floor.
