Central Texas AGC was represented in Washington, D.C., last week by Board Chairman Mike Ballerino and President & CEO Grayson Huskey, at the AGC National & Chapter Leadership Conference!

Alongside fellow Texas AGC chapters, The Texas Building Branch, and construction leaders from across the nation, they connected with industry leaders and visited Capitol Hill to advocate for construction.

Staying engaged nationally helps ensure our members’ voices are heard on issues affecting their businesses, workforce, and communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Central Texas AGC & Texas Building Branch Legislative Luncheon.

As we look ahead to the 90th Texas Legislative Session, it is important that our industry stays informed, engaged, and prepared to advocate for policies that strengthen commercial construction and support continued economic growth across Texas.

A special thank you to Corbin Van Arsdale and Wade Long for providing our members with insight into the legislative landscape, key policy priorities, and the issues that could impact contractors and the construction industry.

We would also like to thank our sponsors, Parsons Commercial Roofing and Lochridge-Priest, Inc. for their support of this year's Legislative Luncheon and their continued support of Central Texas AGC.

We appreciate Representative Hickland taking the time to meet with us, hear directly from our industry, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing contractors and businesses across our region.

Building strong relationships with our elected officials is an important part of advocating for our members and ensuring the voice of the construction industry is heard at the Capitol.
