June is here and we are so glad to be doing what we love right here in Central Texas.

We're a small, hardworking local crew and Waco has been so good to us. Whether we're out in the neighborhoods near Baylor or working a job on the outskirts of town, every roof we finish feels personal to us.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Observing Memorial Day began after the Civil War as "Decoration Day" — a time for communities to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers. Over time, it grew into a national day of remembrance for all who have made the ultimate sacrifice across every branch of our military and every generation of service.

To those families who carry that loss — we see you, we thank you, and we honor your loved ones today.

Whoever turned the thermostat down in Central Texas this week… thank you. 👏😂
The Project One Roofing crew is out enjoying these suspiciously crisp May temperatures while knocking out inspections across Central Texas. We know this kind of weather is basically a limited-time offer before summer shows up angry and starts cooking us by 10 AM. ☀️🔥
Until then, we’re taking advantage of it — climbing roofs, checking for storm damage, and helping homeowners stay ahead of leaks and repairs before the real heat rolls in.
