First: It is pronnounced He-lo, not Hello!

When we were deciding on a company name, we wanted to ensure that our company was founded in faith. We talked a lot about Genesis 1:3. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Hence the Greek word " helio" which means "sun." We also wanted our company to have a connection to the aviation industry as that's where it all began for Jon in the army. As a young soldier, Jon was selected to be in charge of his company's fleet of blackhawk helicopters earning awards from Sikorsky due to his cross-trained abilities in avionics, electrical, and maintenance. Using the slang term for helicopter "helo" combined with our faith, the concepts were merged and HELO Electric was established in 2022.
Our logo: The halo effect of helicopter rotor (disc) blades resulting in static electricity created by friction as materials of dissimilar material strike against each other creating the Corona or Halo effect. The halo is a symbol of light and grace given by God.
