These homes are built to strict, national building codes that regulate design, construction, strength, durability, transportability, fire resistance, energy efficiency, and quality control. We feel these homes are superior, and we have found fewer problems with the structural components of these homes than with comparable site-built homes.

Since 1994, Francesca Carey of FABMAC Homes, Inc. began installing factory-built HUD Code homes in California and in 2006 she formed FABMAC Homes, Inc., a Hawai’i corporation. FABMAC Homes has the exclusive right to sell Clayton Homes (a Berkshire Hathaway company) in the state of Hawai’i. These homes are built to strict, national building codes that regulate design, construction, strength, durability, transportability, fire resistance, energy efficiency, and quality control.
