We are hiring for ROOFERS & ROOFER APPRENTICES.
Aluminum Shake Roofing, established in 1989, is searching for roofers and individuals interested in learning the metal roofing trade. We install some of the highest grade and most beautiful metal roofing systems in the world.
Must have a willingness to learn and follow directions. Training is available, but experience is prefered. Construction experience or carpentry also preferred. Expected to follow all safety policies and procedures.
The pay scale is between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour and will be established upon hiring. The hours are 8-10 hr work days M-F. Safety PPE provided.
ROOFER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install or repair commercial and residential roofs
Remove old or damaged roofing material
Install new Aluminum Shake Roofing, including Standing Seam and Mod Bit Cap Sheet roofing.
Measure, cut and fabricate roofing materials to the proper size
Follow all OSHA safety regulations
Must have reliable transportation. Residential job locations vary from week to week across the island.

NEW PV RAIL BRACKET FOR ALUMINUM SHAKE ROOFING.
We are proud to introduce the first wind-resistant, 304 stainless steel bracket for PV rail installations on Aluminum Shake roofing without any external penetrations. No more leaks!!
The brackets were engineered to meet or exceed the requirements for the weight of the PV (Photovoltaic) panels and the conditions of severe wind uplift laid out in the international building code to withstand 180 mph equivalent wind speeds. For the uplift design, there is no (or very negligible) uplift of the bracket and fasteners themselves. Each bracket has an allowable uplift capacity of 2,161 lbs.

Since the brackets and the screw fasteners are fabricated from austenitic stainless steel (304 series stainless) they will last indefinitely. And since they are installed so that they will not be in direct contact with the aluminum roofing panels, they will not contribute to the deterioration of the panels.
