So this one took a while.....the remodel only took us 2 months but then we had a baby....then we had to move hahaha....then we had to adjust to one less bedroom (not realizing how much crap you keep lol)...but finally it 98 percent done. We have been living in it for 2 months now and NO it is not this clean always. We have the 4 month old Grace and a 6 year old Zoey, and of course 17 year old Josh so no it wont stay clean but thats ok.
So a small walk through, in the video prior to this post we had just finished demo. We gutted everything minus sheetrock. My biggest excitement changes are the kitchen and our master.
The kitchen we ok before but now we have beautiful cabinets wrapping the kitchen with some floating shelves. Pantry cabinets are a must, coffee bar is cool.......BUT THAT ISLAND!!! Is the bomb dot Com lol. We got rid of our table and just turned the island into a table. 4x9 foot.
To finish it off we went with quartz and herringbone backsplash.
Painted an accent wall for the brick and shelves (built in cabinets to come in the near future)
Floors are a very nice 9 inch lvp from and I know what you're thinking...why lvp.....we I am a hardwood snob but I also understand my kids are going to destroy them so I stuck with lvp. Plus we had some limits bc of the old vct asbestos filled floors installed. So we slapped 1/2 plywood on top and rolled on.
The two bedrooms just got a face lift with paint...Josh typical teenager with black bottom and blue top. Zoey with pink and purple.
The master, as you can see we tripled the closet in the corner and blew up the bathroom.....went from a whopping 23 sqft to 95 sqft bathroom. Removed the hot water heater and placed in the garage, slid down the washer and dryer, added a toilet room, add heated floors, and installed this beautiful sky/clouds wall for the shower.
Overall we are happy with our selections and excited to live here.
