Total Deck Care is a family owned business that was started in New England in 1999. We are now based in Wake Forest and have been servicing Wake, Franklin, Granville, Orange and Durham counties for over 13 years. While specializing only in deck restoration for the first 6 years of operation, we have now expanded our services to include:
Construction and restoration of decks, fences, play-yards, ga

zebos and other exterior wooden structures, including Ipe and other exotic hardwoods. Wooden garage door and front door restoration. Pressure washing of homes, fences, driveways, walkways and sidewalks. Interior clearing and exterior cleaning of gutters and installation of gutter guards. We also offer full exterior restoration contracts and one time services for property management companies, and real estate firms for mixed use, multi-unit and commercial projects. We have been in business for over 20 years and specialize in building, maintaining and restoring composite and wood decks, fences, pergolas, cedar shakes, exterior doors, and siding repair; as well as pressure washing homes, condominium complexes, patios, sidewalks and driveways, gutter clearing and gutter guard installation .

We are looking to add two additional experienced exterior restoration and pressure washing crew members for full time work and one full time summer position, with the potential for advancement to supervisory positions.

Hours may vary due to weather, but are full time, Monday-Friday, with paid overtime after 40 hours.

Pay is commensurate with experience, with a salary review after the first 30 and 90 days of work.

Daily tasks will vary by job, but will include : pressure washing, exterior staining and painting, wood restoration and maintenance and more. Light carpentry experience is a huge plus.

Requirements:

-Experience in staining and/or exterior power washing is a must. However, additional PAID training will also be provided.

-Must be 18 years or older.

-Must have own reliable transportation to get to and from our office, however a company vehicle will be provided for transportation to and from job sites.

-High attention to detail.

-Must be able to climb and safely work on ladders, up to heights of 20'.

-Positive attitude.

-Articulate and polite, personable and comfortable with conversing with clients.

-Must have a valid driver’s license.

-Must be a US resident or provide proof of a VALID work visa.

-All applicants are subject to a background check.

Total Deck Care is a family owned exterior wood restoration company that serves Wake Forest and the greater Triangle area. We have been in business for over 20 years and specialize in building, maintaining and restoring decks, fences, swing sets, exterior doors, and home trim and siding repair. We also pressure washing homes, patios, sidewalks and driveways and paint home exteriors.

We are looking to add three more experienced crew members to our existing team. Two positions will be seasonal and will run though the end of summer, one position will be permanent.

Daily tasks will vary by individual job, but will include : Pressure washing, window and gutter cleaning, exterior staining and painting, wood restoration and repair of decks, fences, swing sets and more. Light carpentry experience is a huge plus.

Requirements:

Experience in painting/staining and exterior power washing is required.

Job applicants must 18 years or older.

Attention to detail.

Must be able to climb and safely work on ladders up to 36'.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Positive attitude.

Articulate and polite, personable and comfortable with conversing with clients.
