Professionalism, honesty and transparency sound good on a website.

What we care about is what they look like when you’re actually in the middle of a project.

It means calls get returned. Questions get answered. Problems don’t get buried. You know where things stand, what’s changing, and what comes next.

Because when someone is working on your home, trust isn’t a nice extra. It’s part of the job.

We’ve been building and renovating homes in Massachusetts since 1985, and a lot has changed since then. That part hasn’t.

Boston Design Center’s Fall Market brought the New England design community together for talks, fresh ideas, good food, art, and plenty of catching up. The day wrapped with New England Home Magazine’s announcement of its 2026 Hall of Fame inductees.

There’s something about an old house with its walls open.

You notice the lath that was behind the plaster, right next to some new framing. The staircases that have carried people up and down for years.

We spend a lot of time looking ahead during a renovation. This is a good moment to look back, too.

Good coffee, a righteous breakfast bread, and an entire morning devoted to kitchens. Obviously, we were paying attention.

Boston Home Magazine brought together designers from its fall kitchens issue to talk about what’s shaping kitchens now – – from furniture, inspired details and more substantial millwork to a little British influence making its way across the pond.

For us, stay current isn’t about collecting trends. It’s about listening, looking and understanding where design is headed – – and it takes it to execute those idea as well.

Design is part of how we build.

A pretty good reason to finish the attic.

This third-floor renovation in Reading gave an older home a new primary suite, including this bathroom, plus a bedroom and home office.

Making better use of the space already there can change the way a whole house works. And in this case, the attic ended up with a very respectable new title. 😌
