We just finished putting some fresh Trex on this existing deck. Bringing it back to life. We refreshed some hardware and did some dry rot repair. Framed for the picture frame design and center divider. My favorite style for keeping seems down and minimal

Nothing a rock wall couldn't help with. We created a retained area to help support this deck area for future expansion. Also to allow the home owner better access and maintenance around their property.
What a pop that fresh bark makes with the addition of some compacted gravel area for ease of use.

Rock walls are a forever material perfectly suited for our wet marine enviroment. Not only is it a locally sourced and purely natural building material. It is re-usable and low impact when compared to other resources such as concrete block which comes from multiple mineral sources almost entirely imported.

This wall helps support a drainage field for a septic system. Replacing a decayed wooden wall.

The wonderful aspect is when this septic area needs to be redone again the wall can be rebuilt and re-used instead of being trash.

Generational use.

One of many phases on this project with a new look and style for myself. I was really excited to do this right angle wall. Also completed all by hand, however, with the help of my brother on this project. He was a big help and now am looking forward to building more like this in the future

I'm very glad how well this step and terrace build went with the incorporation of the steps into the terrace. Building with wood for walls is rated for 25 years ground contact. While I've been trying to focus on natural rock, I am willing to work with my clients' wants and needs to give them a product that fits their lifestyle and aesthetic.

Created a smart and useful canvas for my client with all around property access in this tough dune environment. Got to add my lovely stone work on this one as a raised planter bed. Check out those wet colors too

Short story: This volcanic basalt lives again as it came from another persons property. Where its first installation was also a boulder wall. Now, it continues on as a rustic accent piece to this wonderful little garage. Squeezed my machines in on this one with a couple rocks set by the excavator. However, 90% was hand set.

This past May saw the completion of this wall. What a huge undertaking that was and I used some truly massive rocks and learned so much. I was humbled by this build and needed a bit of a break to center myself. Finally feeling ready to get back at it and share some work

Some major honesty here. I was almost at my breaking point starting this wall. I had just had a major injury shooting my knee with a 2inch framing Staple and my only employee moving away last minute notice. Doing this wall solo, injured and with minimal and dangerous access I was terrified. I told myself I would get it done no matter what and I had some amazing, understanding and caring clients to help. I'm so glad I stuck to my plans and made this wall as I accomplished such an amazing build that I am so happy with.
