Dear friends,
At times, life is so entirely overwhelming, you don't know what to do. For our dear friend and her family sickness and tragedy has absolutely devastated their lives.
Please help our efforts to show love and support for our children's kindergarten teacher (Mrs. Cunha) and her family. Our loving friend has suffered the complete loss of their home to a fire. They have lost everything and are entirely devastated by this horrible event.
Unfortunately this recent tragedy is only one circumstance that has affected their family. Within the past few months the family has been dealing with difficult health issues. Mrs. Cunha's husband is going through a battle with cancer and is currently in the middle of chemotherapy. They and have two young daughters (one in college) and the very thought of what they are all going through brings tears to my eyes.
As parents, colleagues, and friends, we have decided to start this fundraiser to help her and her family get back on their feet and start the recovery process. Mrs. Cunha is not only an incredible person, she is a wonderful teacher, that gives so much of herself to our community. To see the love and dedication she provides to the growth of our children is amazing. She has become a beloved friend to all of her students and parents.
Our cries for the help of this dear family extend to anyone who can assist at this time of crisis. Please join us in raising funds to allow this wonderful family to re-build their lives.
