Replacing a water main can be a disruptive, timely project - especially for busy storefronts. So, when it came time to replace the water main at one of The Home Depot's busiest locations, they knew they needed to bring on a team that could operate off-hours in order to ensure the store could remain open and continue servicing their customers.

To complete the project without disruption, the Capitol team came to work in 24 hour shifts, paving and backfilling during the day, and installing pipe at night. In record time, Capitol replaced the 10 ft water main and installed six new hydrants, along with a new lining to prevent future corrosion.

We recently had the opportunity to install a new water pipe for a residential home.

The challenge? Not to destroy the front yard while doing so - which is why our team was the perfect fit, and completed the job did it by digging just one small hole 🕳 ☝️

With nearly 1,000 on-site employees, the Headquarters in Lowell, Ma required a major addition - 60,000 sq. feet of an addition, to be exact. However, the existing headquarters needed to remain fully functional during the project 👌

Partnering with our client, Integrated Builders, we started off by redesigning pedestrian & traffic management plans to ensure the existing HQ was fully operational during construction. From there, Capitol provided everything from a 29,000 CY excavation, installation of Geopiers, blasting and ledge removal. 143,000 SF of new parking lots, and 3450 FT of new sewer/drain piping.

Job duties include assisting in site management activities and planning with direction to laborers and operators. Must be able to read and interpret site plans with elevations and field layout.
