What do painting contractors do on their day off? We paint, of course! 😂

Check out the entry door we completed today at my own home! We went with Caliente by Benjamin Moore in the Aura soft gloss finish for a bold pop of color, along with installing a new storm door.

My daughter Sofia even helped me with this one, which made the project that much more special. ❤️🏠

Here’s a look at some of the projects we tackled this week! 🔨🎨

Our skylight work included framing, sheetrock, taping, and finish painting from start to finish. In the kitchen, we completely closed off an existing skylight opening, while in the family room, we reframed and modified the old openings to fit the new skylights and finished everything for a clean, seamless look.

We also gave this dining room a beautiful color change using Benjamin Moore First Light — check out the before & after!

From carpentry and drywall to the final coat of paint, we take care of every step.

A ceiling-only project means protecting the entire room from top to bottom!

Before the painting starts, we make sure floors, furniture, walls, and everything in between are properly covered and protected. Proper covering is just as important as the paint job itself.

We got started today with a thorough power washing—the first step to a clean, properly prepped surface. Next up, we’ll be applying a semi-transparent deck stain to bring it back to life!

What a transformation on this beautiful mahogany porch floor!

Today, we brought the weathered mahogany back to life by thoroughly sanding the floor down to clean, natural wood, then applying an oil-based natural finish to bring out the deep, rich tones and character of the mahogany. A beautiful, durable finish!
