We haven't posted much lately but we got alot going on. I'm just bad at taking pictures so I don't have things to post. Anyway today we did a farm in Furlong. There's a 15,000 BTU heatpump for the breakroom, 2-18,000 BTU heatpump for the work area and a 12,000 BTU refrigeration unit for a food storage area. We elevated the out units up off the concrete so they would have plenty of room under the covered area.

We had another customer who wanted some options on how to use less oil. After some discussing we decided to change the oil furnace and air conditioner. In it's place we installed a Bosch 5 ton 18 SEER 2 stage heatpump with a Bosch 120,000 BTU 96% efficient 2 stage propane furnace. We also reconfigured the ductwork and had the oil tank removed for extra space in the basement.

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. Things have been busy. Today we Swapped out an 150,000 BTU oil boiler for a 155,000 95% efficient Natural Gas Boiler. This Boiler has a 10 to 1 turn down. This means it will modulate all the way down to 15,500 BTUs. If only one zone is calling then 100% output is not necessary. This provides ultra high performance. These things are whisper quiet compared to the rumbling old oil boiler.

Wrapping up the week with a clean Fujitsu Minisplit install for a basement in Churchville. With phenomenal heating, cooling and dehumidifier capabilities, these are a perfect fit for any house.

We are still out performing air conditioning check-ups. With this heat the air conditioner outside has to expell the heat in order to cool the house properly. A clogged coil prevents air flow and adequate heat exchange. This is just one of the multiple points we look at during a check-up. We not only do residential but we also do commercial hvac. Today we changed out a 60,000 BTU rooftop air conditioner that just couldn't keep up in this heat wave. We also service all commercial hvac systems to keep your employees and customers happy.

We had a customer that was having water issues from the old thru-the-wall air conditioners. It was causing rot that they didn't know about. Solution? Fujitsu Minisplits. Downstairs we put a conventional wall hung unit but upstairs had a knee wall and angled roof. The floor mount style worked perfectly for both bedrooms.

We got a nice day so we took advantage of it. We have a commercial customer who likes the evaporator and condensing coils cleaned once a year. It's a great idea to prevent any future service calls and keeps the energy bills low. We also performed the preventative maintenance check-list, changed filters and cleaned the drains.

We not only did a unit swap out but we cleaned up the heater room. With storage space a premium in some houses, this will definitely help them out.

The legacy continues. (I think) Pretty sure my Grandfather, or atleast his company installed this Carrier air conditioner back in 1984. The indoor pan finally cracked and was leaking water. The customer opted to update both air conditioners. We'll be back at it tomorrow to wrap up the other one.

If you haven't had your system serviced in a while here's an example of why you should. This customer was experiencing high electric bills last season. A clogged Condensing Coil will not allow the unit to transfer the heat properly. After a good bath, it's ready for the summer months.
