When someone takes your vision and makes it a reality. ❤️
For six years, I’ve been learning what works, what doesn’t, and what we truly need to operate Reece Heating & Air better every single day.
About six weeks ago, I started brain-dumping all of that to Greg Hogan — the processes, the problems, the wish lists, and all the things I’ve said for years, “If only we had a system that could do this…”
And Greg listened.
Within ONE WEEK of really digging into the build, he took years of ideas and began turning them into one system tailored specifically to the way we operate.
Customer information. Service history. Technician notes. Dispatching. On-the-way texts. Install processes. Office operations. After-hours support. AI integration. The pieces we’ve spent years trying to make work together are finally being brought into one brilliant system.
Today, Greg met with our office team, and next week we begin rolling it out at Reece.
But this post is really about giving credit where credit is due.
Greg is a fellow small business owner who took the time to listen to another small business owner, understand what we actually needed, and then had the talent to build it.
And as incredible as the system is, the heart and passion he has poured into this cannot be compared to anything I could write in a Facebook post.
To know Greg — to know his passion, his heart, and the talent God has given him — has truly been a gift in my life. He has cared about our company, our employees, and this vision as though it were his own.
He didn’t come in trying to replace the people who make Reece special. He built technology around our people to make their jobs easier, our customer experience better, and our company stronger.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building together, but I’m even more excited for other small business owners to see what Greg Hogan can do for them.
Sometimes you just need someone who can hear the vision in your head, believe in it with you, and have the talent to make it real.
Greg did exactly that for me.
Here’s to small businesses supporting small businesses, using technology to support people — not replace them — and giving really talented people the opportunity to do what God created them to do. ❤️
