🚨 Only 4 years old—and already leaking carbon monoxide into the home.
A newer HVAC system doesn’t mean a problem-free HVAC system. This furnace had a small crack in its heat exchanger that allowed carbon monoxide to enter the house.
Thankfully, the homeowners had a working carbon monoxide detector that alerted them. Our team located the problem and resolved it by replacing the heat exchanger.
Proper installation matters. Routine maintenance and safety inspections matter, too—regardless of your system’s age. Installation is the starting point; ongoing care helps identify problems that can develop over time.
No inspection can guarantee a system will never fail, which is why working carbon monoxide alarms are another essential layer of protection for your family.
Don’t wait for a breakdown—or an alarm—to give your heating system attention. 🐺
