As our summer season starts to wind down, I’ve found myself looking back at just how far YardSmart has come this year.
And what a season it has been.
Thousands of lawns cut. Long days. Early mornings. Hot afternoons. Rain delays. Broken equipment. Last-minute schedule changes. Big projects. Tough days. Great days. And plenty of lessons learned along the way.
But through all of it, our team kept showing up.
And I want to take a minute to recognize them.
To everyone who put on a YardSmart shirt this season — thank you.
Thank you for the early mornings when you didn’t feel like getting out of bed. For the 90-degree days when there were still lawns left on the route. For working around rain, breakdowns, schedule changes, and the craziness that comes with a growing company.
Thank you for taking pride in the little things. For helping each other. For talking to our customers. For fixing mistakes when they happened. And for representing the YardSmart name every time one of our trucks pulled into a neighborhood.
This company doesn’t move without you.
I may own YardSmart, but the team in those trucks and behind those mowers is what makes YardSmart what it is. Seeing what this group has accomplished together this year is one of the things I’m most proud of.
And to our customers — thank you.
Whether you’ve trusted YardSmart with your property for years or you just switched to us this season, you had plenty of choices.
You chose us.
You trusted our crews around your homes. You recommended us to neighbors. You left reviews. You waved to our guys when they pulled up. You gave us opportunities to grow, learn, and become better.
Every time you hire YardSmart, you’re helping us do something that means a lot to me: keep an all-American workforce moving and create good jobs for hardworking people right here in our community.
Running a small business isn’t always pretty. We aren’t perfect. We’ve made mistakes this year. We’ve learned from them, we’ve gotten better, and we’ve kept moving forward.
But I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building together.
YardSmart started with a simple idea: build a company that takes care of its customers, takes care of its people, works hard, and does things the right way.
We’re still building that company every single day.
We have a few weeks left in our mowing season, and then our crews will trade the mowers for plows as we head into winter. ❄️
But before summer officially comes to a close, I wanted to say thank you.
To our customers who give us the opportunity.
To our families who support the long days.
And especially to our team who gets up every morning and makes it happen.
I’m proud of you guys. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished. And I’m even more excited about where we’re going next.
Thank you for an incredible summer. 🇺🇸💚💙
