Hutch Paving began as a small start-up company in 1993 in Detroit by Dale Campbell and Gary Hutchinson (Hutch). Their intent was to remain small, doing only driveways and small parking lots. Their approach was simple: address the client's needs, engineer solutions that meet those needs, provide quality service and never stop improving. Before long, people began to recognize the superior quality of
service we were providing and asked us to begin doing larger and larger projects. Recognizing that our company had the potential to grow, we immediately hired Rick Tenbusch, a veteran of the asphalt world, who swears to this day that he can pave blindfolded. Over time, Gary left Hutch Paving and Rick Tenbusch was made Partner and Vice President. Our management team grew as well, with the addition of Michael Campbell, Partner and Vice President of Sales. We have found that in today's world you cannot provide asphalt services without providing concrete services. Following the same principles that made our asphalt team so successful, we started providing concrete services in 2000. A stronger company was reborn providing comprehensive asphalt & concrete services. Today we are the most respected provider of asphalt and concrete services in Southeast Michigan. Now located in Warren, Michigan, we recently built a new state-of-the-art facility which houses all of our operations under one roof. Hutch Paving's focus remains on the quality of our work with the belief that honesty, integrity and pride in our work will bring clients back and will generate new clients through the best kind of advertising there is: Word of Mouth!
