Big plans are in motion for the Sackett Building at Penn State!
This 51,000 GSF landmark is being renovated and expanded on Penn State's main campus, home to the College of Engineering. When it wraps up in Fall 2027, Sackett will be established as an "Engineering Head House," a central hub with an administrative focus that supports College of Engineering students whenever they need it.
To restore Sackett's historical status and preserve the building for years to come, the north and south wings from the original 1957 construction are being completely replaced and renovated. Inside, students will find state-of-the-art learning spaces, including an upgraded IT Training Lab, several conference rooms, and a Knowledge Commons built for collaboration and study.
Sam Craig and Justin Boyer recently visited the site to see how construction is progressing. We're honored to help Penn State honor its past while building a stronger future for its engineers.
Stay tuned!
