The kitchen remodel for our clients in Marshall, Virginia is complete! In these photos, you can see the new kitchen layout with the island our clients dreamed of. The peninsula is gone, the lighter wood finish brightens the space, and we added plenty of extra storage with double-stacked cabinetry and the new cabinet wall separator between the rooms. The gorgeous green wainscotting ties the kitchen and dining space together. 😍

DYK that Ronald Reagan admired Dr. Joseph Warren? In his 1981 inaugural address, Reagan said: "On the eve of our struggle for independence a man who might have been one of the greatest among the founding fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, president of the Massachusetts Congress said to his fellow Americans: 'Our country is in danger but not to be despaired of. On you depend the fortunes of American, you are to decide the important question upon which rests the happiness and liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves.' "

The quote Reagan cited was from Dr. Warren’s 1775 Boston Massacre Oration.

The crew has been hard at work on the kitchen remodel for our clients in Marshall, Virginia. Cabinetry installation is in progress in the kitchen, including a row of cabinets that serve to separate the living and kitchen areas. The new cabinetry introduces a lighter, natural wood look to this kitchen. In a few days, we will share photos of the finished project – be sure to follow along! 📸

Work is underway for our kitchen remodel clients in Marshall, Virginia! 🏗 The old cabinetry has been torn out, and preparation for the new kitchen layout and wainscotting is in process. We gave our clients in Marshall, Virginia, the kitchen remodel of their dreams. The client asked for a brighter space, an island instead of a peninsula, more storage and a solution to divide the kitchen from the living room without building a wall. The day after Dr. Joseph Warren was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill, Abigail Adams wrote to her husband, John, in Philadelphia.

Dearest Friend Sunday June 18 1775
The Day; perhaps the decisive Day is come on which the fate of America depends. My bursting Heart must find vent at my pen. I have just heard that our dear Friend Dr. Warren is no more but fell gloriously fighting for his Country—saying better to die honourably in the field than ignominiously hang upon the Gallows. Great is our Loss. He has distinguished himself in every engagement, by his courage and fortitude, by animating the Soldiers and leading them on by his own example.

Warrenton takes its name from General Joseph Warren, one of the most influential figures of the early American Revolution. June 17 marks the anniversary of his death at the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. A Boston physician and leader in the Sons of Liberty, Warren became a martyr to the Patriot cause.
