As the mowing season has wrapped up and we finish up our last bit of work. It's time to look to what the future holds for us. After 2 years of fighting the weather, health issues, and trying to work solo and now a year round school schedule. Unfortunately we have made the decision to close the lawn care business down. First off I want to thank each and every one of you for making it possible and allowing us to take care of your lawn care needs. This was not an easy choice to make, over the years many of you have become like family to us and we enjoyed the work. A couple months ago an opportunity presented itself for me to get my CDL's and drive big trucks, which I am currently taking the classes for and will wrap up Dec 7th. This will allow me to do work I enjoy that isn't quite as demanding on my body and doesn't require help to keep on pace. I didn't announce this sooner just to be sure I got in the class and everything seemed to be going well with it.
With that I want to wish everyone the best and again thank you all for all the work over the years. Take care and God Bless!
P.s. don't be afraid to reach out and keep in touch 🙂

Starting today off with a doctor visit that is running late. We will be out and working as soon as I get done here. With the hurricane last week we are behind but will work as hard as possible to get caught back up, though normal scheduled times may have to be moved around. So if you don't see us on your normal day we should be out the following day. Hope you are all having a Great Day, God Bless.

After all the rain last night and this morning it is currently too wet to do anything without tearing up yards. Cindy and I have some errands to run to get last minute things for the kids to start school next week. We are going to go knock that out and hopefully it will be dry enough by then to get out and do some work. Doubtful we will be able to get to everyone today, and will make up everything tomorrow and Monday. Hope you all have a great day and weekend, God Bless.

Well we have been on a roll lately, working like crazy but mostly staying caught up. Things were going well today and then the heat started getting to us, tried to push through and started feeling sick and dizzy. So before things got even worse we decided to call it a day, trying to rest and rehydrate. Assuming the weather cooperates we will be back out tomorrow. We are going to try to make it to those we missed today and the folks on the Friday schedule. With the heat like it is I don't know if we will make to everyone tomorrow but we will make it out asap. Stay safe out there in this heat and stay hydrated, God Bless.

Well after 2 days and close to 30 yards it would seem I have both mowers fixed and running well. I'm trying my darnedest to get caught back up, but whew is it rough on my old bones while going at it solo. Got another 18 yards on the schedule for tomorrow and that will get me caught back up, though I'm gonna try to get them all I don't know if it will be possible. If I can't make it out to everyone tomorrow those I miss will be seeing me Monday. I hope you're all having a great week, God Bless.

What a crappy day turned into a ok day for me. Got out to the first yard and the little mower started acting up. So I loaded I back up and headed back home for the big mower, which has still been giving me problems since the baseball incident. After an attempt to repair it this weekend I decided before heading back out I should test it here at my house. So glad I did as my repair didn't hold. Frustrated I headed to Lowe's to get some more stuff to fix it. Got home and after enough mechanic words and determination and got it fixed again. Tested it throughly and I think I have it fixed.....again. Will know tomorrow morning for sure. After that I jumped back to the little trusty mower, and I have it patched back together now too. With the rain last week and the struggle getting going this week I am behind. Tomorrow I am going to start on the Wednesday schedule and jump to the Thursday people (assuming all goes well). Thursday I will be finishing up the Thursday folks and will jump back to the Tuesday people. Friday will be wide open but I think I can get all caught back up this week.

Well after many hours of working on the mower I think I finally have it fixed. Lots of hammering, new blades, freshly greased and a new belt, so far on my test passes on my yard all seems well and running like it should. Going to grab some lunch then head out and see what I can knock out and try to get back on schedule. Hope you all are having a great day, God Bless.

After yesterday's fun at the dentist office to get a couple fillings, I left there feeling like I had been in a boxing match. So needless to say I didn't get much accomplished and am behind. Today I'll be starting with yesterday's yards then moving to Friday's yards. I doubt I will be able to make it to everyone and those I miss will be seeing me Monday. For a bit of good news after a nap to sleep off the dentistry pain, we did make it out to knock out a pinestraw job. Here are some before and afters of that.

Well guess who forgot they had a dentist appointment today?.....that's right this guy 🙃. Being my appointment is in an hour, I'm gonna go do that first and assuming they aren't doing too much I'll be out working once I leave there. That will give me time to figure out what I messed up on the mower yesterday when I found a baseball with it that was hidden in a yard. I fear it may be a spindle though easy enough to replace they are expensive. Oh well just part of the job, at worst I can limp with the little mower until I get the big boy running right.

***Update***
Seems like I dodged a bullet, other than messing up a bit of repair work, that I've done over the course of the sand wear (won't be too much to repair it again), a warped blade is the extent of it....fingers crossed lol.

Oops, I done went and broke the mower again. Lol 100% my fault doing something I knew better in the first place. At least it's only a bolt, nut and washer I have to replace. Will be back up and rolling in 20 minutes, but with the incoming rain I'll likely be calling it a day and catch you 3 I didn't make it to today, tomorrow soon as it is dry enough. Hope you all have a Great day, God Bless.

Well here I sit waiting on it to dry up a bit so I can get to work. Thankfully the sun has popped its head out, and with a little luck the temperature will climb and begin to dry out the grass. Hopefully I'll see you Friday folks soon. Have a Great Weekend, God Bless.
