A friendly reminder to not put grease down the drains in your home. At this job we ended up cutting out a whole sectioned of pipe due to a “belly” and it was packed full with years of grease. We had to hydro jet from the inside of the house out to the septic as well.

Proper maintenance for your septic system is crucial for extending the life of the system and avoiding unnecessary backups.

This job was at a commercial property and a whole plaza was backed up due to something as simple as a septic effluent filter not being cleaned. As you can see from the video when that is dirty and clogged up it backs up the whole system.

After getting the tank back to operating level we jetted the 300 ft main line to get anything that settled out of the pipe to avoid future backups.

Helped this customer in Warwick today. They were having repeat backups caused by tree roots. After we started excavating the sewer line we could see why, whoever installed it used duct tape to hold it together. We cut everything out using all glued PVC and adding a cleanout.
