When budgets are tight, project timelines are short, or a healthcare facility needs to replace an aging system sooner than expected, refurbished imaging equipment often enters the conversation.

And then the questions begin:
- Is refurbished imaging equipment a smart capital strategy?
- Does it introduce unnecessary reliability or service risks?
- Will an older system still fit the clinical workflow 3, 5, or 7 years from now?

The answer is not always a simple yes or no.

This week's post on the CME Insiders blog explores the pros and cons of refurbished imaging equipment and the key factors healthcare organizations should consider before making a decision. Read more: https://hubs.li/Q04vJbDB0

Could something as simple as a medical dispenser be disrupting your clinical workflow?

Medical dispensers may not be the largest items on an equipment list, but they can have an outsized impact on daily clinical operations. A poorly chosen dispenser may create restocking challenges, contribute to supply waste, or simply fail to accommodate the products your facility uses.

Selecting dispensers involves more than comparing dimensions and prices. Healthcare facilities should also consider what's being dispensed, who will be using it, cleaning requirements, mounting conditions, and other day-to-day operational needs.

Learn more about best practices for evaluating medical dispensers in this week's post on the CME Insider's blog: https://hubs.li/Q04txCBG0

Shining this month's spotlight on our HR Coordinator, Renée Bucklin who has been with CME for two years now!

With 30+ years of experience and of all the organizations she's worked at, she says CME stands out as the most employee-oriented and communicative workplace: "Managers actually “walk the talk” and treat employees extremely fairly. I truly enjoy and look forward to coming to work every day."

A fun fact about Renée: She spent the infamous blizzard of '78 skiing in Killington, VT, totally unaware that most of the Northeast was shut down. Best skiing conditions ever, she says. 😉

Thank you for all that you do, Renée!

Is your aging lab equipment really saving you money... or quietly costing you more than you realize?

You may think your lab equipment only costs you when it breaks. But as these equipment age, hidden costs like downtime, maintenance, service calls, workflow disruptions, and reduced efficiency can quickly add up, impacting both your budget and your lab's performance.

Learn how to identify the true cost of aging lab equipment and make smarter replacement decisions for your facility in this week's post on the CME Insider's Blog: https://hubs.ly/Q04rKlN60
