Ran the Joggin’ for Jaelyn 5k race in Maynardville. I ended up 1st place overall! This photo is after I had changed clothes. I had one yard to do after the race. It was very hot out midway through the race. Felicity Wilson also participated to the good cause!

The scenic drive down my road Saturday on the tractor to go bush hog, a baby bunny Luke (a customers dog) had found, and some newborn goats napping. I’m kind of disappointed I didn’t get a picture of the hornets nest I either clipped or got really close to with the weed-eater. It was a first for me. I didn’t get stung or anything. I realized it wasn’t a cardboard ball real quick though! It really has been an interesting couple weeks of full time mowing! I’m really enjoying it, I can’t say that enough!

Officially a full time mowing company. I haven’t posted in a while because I have been keeping busy… well 3 days a week just opened up! Let me know if you need a fresh cut! Don’t be ashamed of your yard if it’s in rough shape I can help you get it back on track. That’s what I’m here for. I have transitioned several yards already this year and I love doing it!

Got my first fraudulent check ever. Went to the bank they said it looked okay went to deposit it and 2 days later barred from mobile deposits. I got it all cleared up on lunch today. No money was lost or yards mowed for free. Only thing was I did a walking quote on someone else’s property at 6:30 am that wasn’t the real owner haha So hopefully I didn’t freak anyone out! Lesson learned. I will use my quickbooks invoice or cash from now on. It sends an email that gives the option to pay with debit or transfer from your account directly from your bank. I don’t see any numbers other than the payment amount that is headed my way. Safer for everyone. I can also accept card in person with my card reader.

Back on track today! Two new tires on the rear and a legitimate spare tucked up under the bed. Only disappointment was the tire place that had my tire size wasn’t next to Hardee’s for breakfast. I keep forgetting to eat lately during the day and I need to be eating even more. Also I love that new mower, It made those hills look easy today. I was worried I might get stuck or slide but I had no trouble at all.

New 36” stander is finally here! The wife test driving it. Today was an interesting day. Left work in Knoxville to the dealer In tazewell to pick the mower up. Then had to cash an online check for a customer so back to Knoxville. While I was there I decided to hand out a business card to a place that hasn’t mowed yet and then to get a part for the washing machine. Then I decided to go buy the wheel barrow I need for faster mulching. They didn’t have the one I looked up but this one may be better. I liked it at least. My prior one was a single wheel and on hills it tips over too easily. Which really sucks when you are trying to make a clean job of it. Then I headed home went to go up the driveway and it was covered in gravel. Cut my tire halfway up on a big piece. I was mad but I promised the kids I would ride them around on the mower so that’s what we did. I wished I could’ve rode them around more. Then I went and jacked my truck up took the tire off. Tried finding one in stock but Walmart doesn’t show inventory as well as they used to and that’s more of a drive then I want to make not knowing. I got the spare down from underneath and realized it’s junk… but I think it will hold to the local tire shop and that’s all I need! Ate dinner and installed my washing machine part… it was a no go but I have an idea what it is. Gave up for the night on that and went back out to the shed to put my chute blocker on the mower so I can flip it up and down as needed. Way more efficient than some I have seen. It was a really up and down day I haven’t decided what I think about the day but I got a lot done or as done as I could tonight. I also picked up another weekly mow customer somewhere along the drive!

Tired of mowing or edging yet? I’m taking on customers still, don’t hesitate to call, pm, email, or text! I run into a lot of yards that haven’t been kept up for a while that people are often embarrassed by. Don’t be ashamed of your overgrown yard. Thats what I am here for! Those yards are often more rewarding because the customer gets to see the transition quickly and I get to see the excitement it brings them to have a peaceful yard again!
