This foliage here belongs to Nandina, an evergreen shrub that has many uses in the landscape. New growth each Spring is vibrant red. Other varieties are the lime-chartreuse color in front. We have used the smaller varieties as groundcover and the taller ones as back-row foundation plants.

Wood? Nope. This is porcelain. I wasn’t able to tell the difference either.

Would love to install this as a sunny back yard patio walking out into the lawn, or as a shaded walkway beside the house with ferns spilling onto it.
